Lillie Vogt: Champion American Heifer and Reserve Champion Heifer

2025 Reserve Champion Heifer | Hill District Grandstand

Lillie Vogt, Kendall County 4H

The Hill District Grandstand has always been a stage where passion, dedication, and community come together, and this year was no exception. Among the shining stars of the 2025 event was 14-year-old Lillie Vogt, a 9th grader from Boerne, TX, whose hard work and talent earned her two incredible titles: Champion American Heifer and Reserve Champion Heifer.

Lillie’s achievements aren’t just a testament to her skills but also to her deep commitment to livestock showing and judging. A proud member of Kendall Co. 4-H, she has spent countless hours preparing to compete at this level, embodying the values of perseverance and dedication.

One of the most heartwarming aspects of Lillie’s story is the connection she has with her livestock. Her Bred & Owned heifer, “Irma’s Blessing,” carries a special significance. Named after her beloved Mimi, Irma Macon, the heifer represents not just a competition entry but a tribute to family and legacy.

When asked about her future, Lillie’s eyes are set on new horizons. She dreams of attending Texas Tech University in the coming years, and with her incredible determination and track record, there’s no doubt she’ll achieve every goal she sets for herself.

Lillie Vogt’s success at the Hill District Grandstand is a source of pride not only for her family and 4-H community but also for every supporter of young talent and hard work. Congratulations, Lillie, on a remarkable achievement! We can’t wait to see all that you’ll accomplish in the future.
