Big congratulations are in order for Layla Hatfield, a standout sixth grader from Mason, TX who has captured the hearts of her community and beyond with her commitment and talent. Layla and her goat took home the Reserve Champion Division 1 title—what an amazing accomplishment! As a dedicated member of Mason County 4-H, Layla has shown an exceptional level of skill and dedication.

Beyond the Show Ring

When she’s not busy excelling in competition, Layla enjoys the thrilling game of tennis and loves to spend her time crafting beautiful arts and crafts. She aspires to attend Texas Tech University, hoping to pursue a career in Veterinary Medicine. Her ambition to become a Veterinarian one day is a testament to her compassion and love for animals, a quality that undoubtedly fuels her success in 4-H.

Layla’s story is an inspiration to many, proving that dedication, passion, and a dream can take you far. Her achievements are a source of pride for the Mason community. And, a reminder of the incredible potential young individuals have when supported and encouraged.
