Jaxson Powell: 2025 Market Barrow Reserve Champion

2025 Reserve Grand Champion Market Barrow | Hill District Grandstand

Jaxson Powell, Jourdantown FAA

The Hill District Grandstand has always been a place where hard work meets triumph, and this year’s event was no exception. Today, we’re shining a spotlight on one of our local stars, Jaxson Powell, who achieved an incredible milestone at this year’s competition.

At just 16 years old, Jaxson, a 10th grader from Jourdanton, TX, took home the 2025 Market Barrow Reserve Champion title. This is no small feat, and it’s a testament to Jaxson’s unwavering dedication and work ethic. He’s a proud member of the Jourdanton FFA (Future Farmers of America), and his passion for raising and showing pigs has clearly paid off in a big way.

When Jaxson isn’t competing or breaking records, you’ll find him excelling in other impressive ways. This multi-talented teen also plays football and is already planning for his bright future. Jaxson has his sights set on attending Texas A&M University, and with his determination, we have no doubt he’ll make it there and accomplish even greater things.

The Hill District Grandstand is more than just an event; it’s a celebration of young talent, agricultural excellence, and community. And Jaxson’s achievement is the perfect example of what’s possible with hard work and a supportive community behind you.

We are so incredibly proud of you, Jaxson! Congratulations on your well-deserved win. The entire Jourdanton community, along with everyone at the Hill District Grandstand, is cheering you on as you continue to reach new heights.

Way to go, Jaxson! You’re an inspiration to all of us.
