Attention Exhibitors! Are you ready to enter the exciting world of the Hill District Grandstand? Here’s all the information you need to know to be a part of this amazing event!
Online Entry Process:
- Online Entry and Payment: All entries must be completed and paid for online, except for school districts that need to pay for Ag Mechanics entries using a school check. In this cases, please use the paper form. (Ag Mechanics entries are $35.)

- Separate Entries per Exhibitor: Each exhibitor must submit an individual entry, and the system doesn’t require logins, simplifying the process by eliminating password management. If you have multiple exhibitors in your family, please ensure that you complete the entry process for each exhibitor. Don’t worry, it’s just $35 per head, but keep in mind that there is a limit of 2 heads per market show.
- Quality Counts and Heifer Validation: Exhibitors must complete Quality Counts certification before entering. The system is updated weekly, so recent certifications may take time to appear. If a recently validated heifer isn’t listed, select “Other” to manually enter it.
- Entry Submission: It’s recommended that submissions be completed on a computer for easier W9 uploads, though entries can also be made via phone by downloading and saving the W9 to upload.
Late Entries: Did you miss the regular and late entry deadline? No problem! Entries submitted on or after December 2, 2024, through January 1, 2025, will be charged a late entry fee of $100 per entry. For those who like to live on the edge, exhibitors can also enter on the arrival day for each division for $250.00.
AST/CEA Entry Approval: DEADLINE FOR APPROVAL DECEMBER 13, 2024
If you’re a student entering under a chapter/club, CEAs & AST will need to approve your entry. Don’t worry, it’s easy! Here’s how to get your entry approved:
- Go to the AST/CEA Online Entry Portal: AST/CEA Online Entry
- Login as a club. Use your existing access code from the club/chapter validation portal (cattle and lamb/goat validation and QC site) —no new password is required!
- You will see a list of the exhibitors entered under your club/chapter.
- Click the “eye”/ view button next to each exhibitor’s entry to review.
- Entry Review Options: Please follow the guidelines below when approving entries:
Approve Entries: Approve if the entry details are accurate and the student is eligible to show under your club/chapter. Even if the student lacks Quality Counts information, still approve the entry. We will verify this information with the state.
Report Issue: If any entry or personal details are incorrect, email us at [email protected]. We will work with you and the family to update any incorrect information.
Reject Entry: Reject an entry only if you do not approve the exhibitor to participate in the Hill District Grandstand Show. Rejection means the exhibitor cannot show under your club/chapter. Do not reject for missing Quality Counts, incorrect entries, or personal information.
Access and Download Features: Did you know that this portal allows you to view your exhibitors’ entries throughout the show season and download entries into an Excel file at any time for your convenience?
